Four generations serving the public since 1923

Dad's is an old-fashioned butcher shop featuring gourmet prepared foods and catering. Since 1923, the four generations of the Commoroto family have been serving only the finest in beef, pork, veal, chicken and lamb from their store at the 16th and Ritner. People travel from all over for our famous Chicken Meatballs – fried or baked – plus we offer a wide variety of homemade soups. Every day, you’ll find one of the Commoroto brothers creating a fresh batch chicken meatloaf (wrapped in bacon with peppers and cheese inside!), cutlets, scaloppini, ham pies, rice puddings and more!
